Our goal

The West Tennessee Regional Utility Authority wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website and take part in the Authority's public business. We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act for state and local government websites.

What we do

• Text and backgrounds are chosen to be easy to read.
• Every part of the site can be reached and used with a keyboard alone.
• Pages are built to work with screen readers, magnifiers, and voice controls.
• Photographs have text descriptions, and documents we post are text-readable.
• Animation is reduced when your device asks for less motion.
